The Singapore AI grants that matter

Most of an AI or digital project can be co-funded by the government. Here are the ones worth knowing, what each is for, who qualifies, and where to apply.

Last updated: July 2026. Grants open, close and change often, and some are time-limited pilots. Always confirm the current status and numbers on the official pages linked below before you apply.

The big change coming: EDGE

Singapore is merging its three main SME grants (EDG, PSG and MRA) into one scheme called EDGE, worth up to $100k a year. It rolls out in the second half of 2026. Until it launches, the grants below still work exactly as they do today, so you don't need to wait. Official EDGE announcement.

For a small business, two grants really matter: PSG for buying ready-made solutions, and EDG for bespoke transformation work. Here's how each one works.

One more thing worth knowing

Enterprise Innovation Scheme (EIS) — not a grant, but a 400% tax deduction on eligible AI and innovation spend, capped at $50k per year of assessment (YA2027 and YA2028). IRAS info.
